Choking Rescue Device

I bought this emergency device to have on hand at home, especially with small children and elderly people around. The product quality is excellent; it feels sturdy and is well designed. It's easy to use, even under pressure, thanks to its intuitive design and clear instructions.

It came with a bright red carrying bag, which makes it easy to locate in an emergency, and a clear instruction sheet that explains how to use the device step by step. The design is simple and intuitive, even for someone without medical CPR training. I feel much more confident knowing that I have this tool on hand in case of a choking emergency. The device appears to be of high quality, lightweight, and truly portable.

It feels a little strange reviewing a product that I hope I’ll never use. However, after reading the instructions, examining the device, and making sure I understood how the device works; I’m convinced it’s a smart purchase. It’s more than “smart” it’s “Peace of Mind”. I live alone and although I retired from a large company that trained their outside technicians to administer the Heinrich Maneuver and other emergency procedures; I do not recall a demonstration to remove a chocking object from oneself. So, let me say, “Thank You” for making this life-saving device available, affordable, and easy to use. It appears to be very well made. Included are two face masks designed to cover the nose and mouth. One adult size and one child size. As the old cliche goes: ”Better to have one and not need it, than to need one and not have it.” Thank you again!

Thank the good Lord that we have not had to use this product. However, it is a great feeling to know that we have it just in case it is ever needed. It arrived well packaged and each of the two Kodo came in their own carrying case with 3 different size masks.

I am so very grateful that I haven’t had to use this and hope that I never do but I’m happy that I have it. It seems like it will be pretty easy to use if I ever do need it. Everything fits in the clear storage bag, including the instruction card

One of the biggest nightmare for a parent is their child got chocked by accident and there is a chance that Heimlich manoeuvre doesn't work. In this case having an emergency rescue kit is like an additional chance to save the kid's life. The golden time to rescue for chocking before creating irreversible brain damage is 5 mins, if this toll work, it will be the life saver. This kit comes with a valve, a tube and 2 masks, one for adults and one for kids. The masks have some plastic smells so I washed all the accessories and tested on myself, the tube has to be installed to get the strongest suction. I think the level of the suction should be enough to take the food out of airway. I hope I will never need to use this kit, neither do others.

I ordered this kit as I have a family member who has a tendency to choke more often than normal. This makes me feel safer knowing I have it. Instructions are clear and easy to understand. Online videos are helpful in demosntrating how it works. I can also see where it would be a good choice to have in a small office or class setting.
